Jim Malek has been a licensed Ohio Attorney since 1995. He has tried numerous personal injury and worker’s compensation cases to jurors throughout the state of Ohio. Before becoming an attorney, Jim worked for Big Bear Stores in Columbus for 11 years where he learned the importance of hard work and respect. Jim received a B.S. in Zoology from the Ohio State University in 1990.
Attorney Ed Malek graduated from Capital University Law School in 1969. While attending law school in the evening, he was employed full time during the day and was also actively involved in the United States Army Reserves. Mr. Malek was admitted to the Ohio State Bar Association and commenced employment with the Franklin County Probate Court. He then became an assistant prosecutor for the Franklin County Municipal Court.
Born in 1981 in Westerville, Ohio, the youngest of the eight Malek children, Doug quickly demonstrated his hard-working qualities, finishing near the top of his class at Westerville North High School and St. Charles Preparatory School. After graduating from high school, Doug went on to Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, where he excelled, graduating in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance.
Ben has been a member of Malek & Malek Law Firm since 2007. He clerked here as a student at Capital University Law School in Columbus and was hired on as an associate attorney upon being admitted to the Ohio State Bar in 2008. Ben focuses his practice on workers’ compensation matters.
Attorney Kip Malek attended Capital University Law School, where in May 2014 he graduated Summa Cum Laude. While at Capital, Kip received CALI awards, signifying the highest grade in the class in both Ohio Workers’ Compensation and Business Associations. Prior to going to law school and becoming an attorney, Kip worked in the videogame industry. Some of the titles he’s had the opportunity to work on include Saint’s Row and Guitar Hero. He’s developed for the PS2, PS3, Xbox, Xbox 360, Wii, and PC.
